EDUCATION
Mr. Silber is a two-time graduate of the University of Miami where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2002 and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in finance in 1999. Mr. Silber attended business school on an academic scholarship. He is also an alumnus (Class of 1995) of the Scheck Hillel Community School in North Miami Beach, Florida where he studied as a dual-curriculum yeshiva track student.
In 2000, while in law school, Mr. Silber worked as a Florida Supreme Court certified legal intern at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. He also interned at Salomon Smith Barney while attending business school. During that internship, he earned the SEC Series 7 license (also known as the General Securities Representative license, which allows one to buy and sell securities). That license is now expired. As a college student, Mr. Silber supported himself by working at Mike's Cigars in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida. In the summer of 1999, he also worked as a skycap at Miami International Airport where he proudly carried luggage for tips to pay for his law school textbooks and a laptop.
